Check me out in my fairy princess dress!
I was a little on the fence about whether or not to take bridal photos. What was I going to do with dozens of pictures of myself? I also had to carve out time in my already super busy wedding week to get it done. I am so glad I did though! It was a great opportunity for me to get comfortable in front of the camera, in my dress, and in a full face of hair and makeup!
I had my hair and makeup done at Blushworthy in their Pearland studio. I really didn’t have a clear vision so I gave them a few key words like “soft,” “romantic,” and “braids.” They achieved it perfectly. I literally gasped when I saw their finished product. In all my cheer and dance days, I have never had that much makeup on. It took a second to get used to looking at myself! I would highly recommend them for any photoshoots, weddings, special events, or proms.
All photos were taken by the lovely and extremely sweet Leah Nguyen of Leah Elizabeth Photography. I can not say enough good things about Leah. She killed it with my bridals. As you can probably tell! Leah made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her modeling tips and directions were so easy to follow. Plus, she got these photos back to me so quickly.
When Leah texted me a sneak peek, I immediately texted back “I’m in love! Is it weird to be in love with pictures of yourself??” She graciously replied no!
For anyone wondering, these photos were taken at Tom Bass Park and Helen’s Park.

I arranged these flowers about 5 minutes before I had to leave. I didn’t have floral tape or ribbon, so a rubber band is holding these together!! I love how they turned out.
