Bridal Party #ColemanAndWife

Every person in our bridal party is a model, seriously.

Did I mention that this day was a dream come true? Not only did we get to throw a raging party that night, but we got to spend the entire day with our best friends. (Plus, there was that whole marriage to the love of my life thing.) Some of our bridal party we have known since we were little. Some were met in college. All of them have had such a big impact on our lives as individuals and as a couple. Every single one of the groomsmen were there when Spencer and I started dating. My bridesmaids sat with me when I would cry in our dorm rooms about being long distance. We don’t get to see everyone as often as we used to, but when we are together it feels like no time has past.

As far as outfits go, my vision was for everyone to look unique yet cohesive. You can find thousands of results for mismatched bridesmaid dresses on Pinterest, but only a few results come up for mismatched groomsmen outfits. Well look no further, here is proof that you can tell your bridal party to show up in whatever dress or suit they want to wear and it will turn out beautifully. The bridesmaids choose mauve, taupe, and blush dresses from places like BHDLN and Lulu’s. Each girl got to choose the style of dress they felt most comfortable in. Their bouquets were wrapped in similar colored ribbon to complete the look. Our groomsmen had even less direction than that, but don’t they look good? Most wore suits they already owned and it gave the others a reason to finally get the suit they’ve been needing. The suits ranged from black, charcoal gray, and light gray. The look was completed with matching mauve ties and boutonnieres.

I would like to say thank you to all my model friends for being in our wedding. Thank you for traveling out to the middle of nowhere Texas for us. Thank you for buying dresses and suits, even though I gave y’all hardly any direction at all. Thank you for decorating and handling other wedding catastrophes. Thank you for killing it on the dance floor. Thank you for making our day perfect. And finally, thank you for being so freaking gorgeous – inside and out!
